Mindfulnest Counseling LLC is looking to hire a fully licensed LPC, LMFT, or LCSW!
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Weekends: Optional (up to you!)
Split 60/40 or 70/30 depending on experience and expertise
Includes: Shared office, WiFi, EHR, listing on my website, once a month optional consultation meetings, and use of break room

The ideal candidate for this role would have training or experience in therapy with perinatal clients (fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, parenting), Trauma, and/or have additional interests or specialties that complement these current specialties

Join our mental health team as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to diverse populations. In this engaging position, you will provide individual, group, and family counseling, utilizing your expertise in behavioral health to foster positive change. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate treatment planning.
- Deliver individual, group, and or family therapy sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, IFS, EMDR, etc.
- Provide telehealth services utilizing secure platforms to expand access to mental health care for diverse populations across various settings.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, counseling, or behavioral health services
- Strong knowledge of DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) criteria for diagnostic evaluation and ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10).
- Expertise in therapeutic modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care
- Ability to utilize telehealth platforms effectively while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients compassionately.
