Job Overview

Title: Master Social Worker
Location: Mission Viejo, CA
Shift: 5 x 8 hour Days
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $2700/wk (Travel pay)

Requirements:

• Floating Expectation: Laguna Facility
• First Time Traveler: HARDSTOP NO 1ST TIME TRAVELER
• Ratios: Caseload of 20-23 patients
• Years of experience 1 full year of acute care experience is required redirect if they do not have.
• Weekend REQ: Every other weekend.
• CA state license: No
• Pending License accepted: Yes, but must be licensed upon start date
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
• Implement motivational interviewing strategies to empower clients in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex needs, including those with developmental disabilities and PTSD.
