Key Responsibilities

  • Provide grief support services through individual/family counseling, peer support groups and community programming
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate groups in office, in area schools or in the community
  • Provide assessment and focused, grief counseling services for all ages
  • Document in Heartlinks’ web-based data management system
  • Collaborate with the Heartlinks team and volunteers

Other Opportunities

  • Participate in community outreach and special events programs
  • Perform all other duties assigned by Director, and Clinical Staff
  • Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other mental health profession
    • Professional licensure or eligible for licensure (supervision towards advanced licensure is available as a benefit)
    • Experience with adult and youth group work
  • Skills

    • Group facilitation and planning skills
    • Ability to provide virtual and in-person counseling
    • Mental health evaluation, assessment, and referral skills
    • Proficiency Microsoft Office and Google applications
    • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy regulations
  • Personal transportation necessary

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other mental health profession
  • Professional licensure or eligible for licensure (supervision towards advanced licensure is available as a benefit)
  • Experience with adult and youth group work
