An onsite School Social Worker opportunity is available in Hopkins, MN, covering an FMLA leave from April 6, 2026, to May 8, 2026. This contract position offers the chance to support a student population of approximately 220, ranging from 3rd to 12th grade, within a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities include providing direct and indirect social work services to students with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges that may impact their academic success. The role involves managing a caseload of around 23 students initially, with an anticipated increase following spring break. You will facilitate individual sessions and lead social skills groups while performing special education due process duties. Serving as an administrative designee on IEP teams, you will document meetings, complete necessary paperwork, and collaborate closely with families, staff, and administration to foster student growth and success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a closely related field
• Licensed School Social Worker credential as issued by the state education department
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
