Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Psychiatry, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center. This position involves onsite weekend inpatient rounding on adult behavioral health units while providing concurrent call coverage. The schedule can be intermittent or regularly scheduled, depending on departmental needs. Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting inpatient rounds and managing acute psychiatric issues, with or without residents and/or nurse practitioners
  • Taking calls and responding to psychiatric residents to staff cases
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Providing supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when present
Duties may be performed independently, may involve collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and, as part of a training setting, may include working with residents and/or students when available.Compensation & BenefitsThe compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $190 - $195 per hour. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
