Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. You will be responsible for providing support in various settings, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and ensuring the highest standard of patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Duties

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on behavior management and skill acquisition.
  • Assist clients with ADLs, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
  • Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation for treatment plans and medical records.
  • Engage in teaching strategies that promote learning and development in a supportive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans that address behavioral health needs.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively when documenting client interactions and progress.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy principles.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and patient care standards.
  • Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to behavioral health outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a compassionate approach towards clients.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
