Job Title: Travel Behavioral Health Clinician (LICSW)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule

  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 10-hour shifts, 3 days/week (30 hours)
  • Rotating schedule, including every other weekend and holiday

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Clinician (LICSW) to join a fast-paced Emergency Department team. This role focuses on providing crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, and care coordination to support patients and families during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial and crisis assessments in the ED setting
  • Provide short-term therapeutic counseling to patients and families
  • Develop and coordinate safe and effective discharge plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and psychiatrists
  • Perform mental health and substance abuse evaluations
  • Facilitate referrals for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services
  • Assist with placement in psychiatric or long-term care facilities
  • Coordinate reporting for child and elder abuse cases
  • Act as a liaison with community resources and support agencies
  • Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements
  • Provide follow-up support and continuity of care

Requirements

  • Active LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) – Massachusetts
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Behavioral Health and/or Emergency Department
  • CPI/MAB (De-escalation Certification) required within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Experience in care coordination and discharge planning
  • Knowledge of behavioral health systems and community resources
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
