After School Behavior Aide - Elementary Age (1pm-6pm M-F)

SPG Therapy & Education is currently hiring After School Behavior Support Staff positions to assist students who have various needs. SPG is dedicated to providing all employees with a unique mentoring program and maintaining strong, collaborative client relationships. Job Type: Part Time, 1:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday

Rate: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Providing support to students
• Facilitating participation in the after school program
• Supporting with management of challenging behaviors
• Collaborating with after school program staff to support students’ social engagement and emotional needs.
• Ensuring students feel safe and a part of the daily activities and after school community

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior experience working in a Behavior Role
• Ability to work with students in-person
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus!
• Driving is a key requirement for this position to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role. As such, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance may be required, particularly in situations where alternate modes of transportation are either unavailable or not deemed reasonable.

General Requirements:

• Fingerprint background clearance
• Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
