This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering non-medical mental health care. The ideal candidate must be able to perform all responsibilities efficiently and maintain professional standards in a secure environment.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews with inmatesDevelop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and level of functioningProvide counseling services and crisis intervention as requiredMaintain accurate and timely documentation in healthcare recordsEnsure strict confidentiality of all sensitive informationApply knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques in daily practiceDeliver appropriate mental health support and interventions to assigned caseloadRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of clinical experienceAt least 2 years in a similar or comparable roleEducation RequirementsMaster's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institutionCertifications & LicensureActive LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of practiceValid driver's license preferred (may be required based on facility)Must be at least 18 years of ageAdditional RequirementsDriver's license and Social Security Card required for facility clearanceDrug screening (DS) will be completed by the facility prior to start and scheduled at a nearby location
