Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Counselors to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth within a school setting. These contract positions are based in Canastota, NY, offering multiple openings. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in interviews where full position details will be shared, allowing for mutual selection between applicants and the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop support plans and intervention strategies
• Facilitate crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed
• Support students' academic and personal development through guidance and resource referrals
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards

• Valid counseling certification or licensure appropriate for a school setting
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage multiple caseloads and prioritize tasks
