Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. This role involves working closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavioral therapy strategies and support their growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with children and applied behavior analysis, or be open to learning how to implement applied behavior analysis strategies, and be committed to providing high-quality client care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a licensed behavior analyst.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately.
- Provide direct support to clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
- Assist in conducting assessments as needed.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral health practices as assigned by the company.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in data collection, communication, and collaboration are beneficial.
