Social Worker

The Ambassador Omaha is currently seeking a Pediatric Social Worker, for 32 medically complex children. This position is for 40 hours/week and offers full benefits and competitive wages. This individual will provide emotional support to patients and their families. They will be involved in an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Require the skills in obtaining a social history, empathetic listening, psycho-social assessment, problem solving and insurance/Medicaid knowledge. This position will also include MDS/care plan completion, discharge planning, working with the school systems, insurance reviews and working closely with Medicaid.
