A full-time, onsite School Psychologist opportunity is available at an elementary school in Englewood, CO. This contract role starts immediately and extends through May 22. The position offers a caseload of approximately 40 students.
The ideal candidate must hold a Professional Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education. They should demonstrate exceptional interviewing skills and be able to clearly articulate their experience and expertise. Energetic, lively, and positive professionals are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and special education staff to support student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services when necessary.
- Assist in creating a positive school climate and support student well-being.
- Valid Professional Special Services License from the Colorado Department of Education.
- Proven experience working as a school psychologist, preferably in an elementary school setting.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students.
- Energetic and positive demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
This position requires participation in a two-step interview process: an initial interview with the Special Education Coordinator followed by a second interview with the School Principal.
