CommQuest seeks an Outpatient Clinical Supervising Counselor for our Outpatient Behavioral Health Services department located in Alliance. The Clinical Supervising Counselor is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the Alliance Outpatient site, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and coordinated behavioral health services. This role provides clinical and administrative supervision to staff, supports workforce development (including interns), and maintains regulatory compliance while also contributing directly to client care through a limited caseload. The position exists to ensure effective program delivery, staff performance, and positive client outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Provide Clinical and Administrative Supervision
  • Ensure Regulatory and Quality Compliance
  • Lead Program Operations and Staff Performance
  • Deliver Direct Clinical Services
  • All other duties as assigned


Schedule:

Dayshift; Monday- Friday. Some evenings or weekends may be required for special events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field required
  • Current licensure in the State of Ohio through the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist (CSWMFT) Board or Ohio Board of Psychology (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT, Psychologist) required
  • Clinical supervisory designation (e.g., LPCC-S, LISW-S, IMFT-S) preferred; candidates actively working toward supervisory credential may be considered
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., OMHAS, CARF, COA)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and clinical documentation skills required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Availability for some evenings/weekends as needed for special events
