Staff Psychologist

Experteer Overview In this role you provide psychological services to veteran patients within the Behavioral Health Interprofessional Team at the Canton Outpatient Clinic. You will conduct assessments, deliver evidence-based treatments, and provide education and consultation within an interprofessional team to address a wide range of psychological, substance use, and health-related behavioral problems. The position supports integration of care within the Mental Health Service and emphasizes impact on veteran health outcomes. Compensation / Benefits • Perform psychological assessment and interpretation for varied veteran populations • Deliver evidence-based psychotherapies and behavioral health interventions • Provide clinical consultation to the interprofessional team and educate patients/families • Collaborate with other disciplines to plan and adjust treatment within a defined service context • Contribute to program development and clinical research activities where applicable • Ensure documentation and charting are completed in electronic systems Tasks • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen • Education: Doctoral degree in Psychology (APA/PCSAS/CPA-accredited or equivalent) with internship completed; licensure as psychologist in the appropriate state or eligible for licensure • Internship: APA- or CPA-accredited internship or equivalent requirement • English proficiency (spoken and written) • Background check and security clearance • Must meet VA qualification standards for psychology • Experience as a professional psychologist at GS-11 to GS-13 level expectations depending on grade • Trial period requirement for new hires Key requirements • annual leave • sick leave • 13 federal holidays • parential leave up to 12 weeks (after 12 months) • childcare subsidy up to 25% • federal health/vision/dental/long-term care insurance
