RBT/Behavior Technician position The Registered Behavior TechnicianTM (RBT®) is certified through the BACB. The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA. RBTs are required to have ongoing supervision to ensure appropriate implementation and direction of behavior analytic services outlined by a BCBA or BCaBA. RBTs must proficiently implement the following: program description, behavior intervention plans, deliver reinforcement, collect data. RBTs adhere to a subset of the Compliance Code designated as relevant to the practice of behavior technicians by the BACB. Job responsibilities: 1. Provide 1:1 instruction to clients with unique learning needs utilizing ABA principles. 2. Independently implement lesson plans and behavior plans (80-100% IOA )in order to teach new skills. IOA is taken 1 time per month. 3. Track accurate data (IOA taken one time per month) and independently implement data into central reach at the end of each session. 4. Follow individualized program descriptions for each client. This includes direct interaction with clients, while simultaneously targeting lesson goals, implementation of behavior intervention plans, and data collection. 5. Communicate professionally and work effectively within a team for the success of the client. 6. Travel to client homes or within the community to provide services (e.g., school sites). 7. Attend monthly team meetings, and trainings as needed. 8. Maintain RBT certification a. Meet monthly supervision requirements of 5% with BCBA/BCaBA b. Documentation of training and feedback from supervisors. RBT tracks on their own in case audited by the BACB. c. Perform proficiently across a set of skills (e.g., use of ABA principles reinforcement, prevention, prompting, discrete trial and task analysis procedures). This is tracked through monthly IOA checks to ensure accurate implementation of programs in homes and school cases. d. Meet annual evaluation requirements (e.g., competency assessment) e. TB Clearance and Immunization records 10. Must be flexible to work mornings and afternoons. 11. Ability to Stand, Sit, Squat, Run, Bend, Twist and lift 50 lbs We offer: 1.
