Description: A social worker is needed for long-term care and skilled nursing facility services at Laguna Honda Hospital, a trauma hospital located in San Francisco, CA. Earn up to $47/hr (based on 40 hours) with the nation’s leading staffing company.
Under general supervision, the Medical Social Worker performs routine medical social work duties; evaluates social, emotional, and physical needs of clients; interviews clients and their families and significant others; provides supportive counseling or crisis intervention; conducts mandatory reporting activities; advocates on behalf of clients; provides discharge planning, service coordination, psychoeducation, and case management; and performs related duties as required
Social Worker—MSW—Acute care Requirements:
- This is a 13-week contract position that requires working day shifts, with a flexible schedule that includes rotating days and weekends.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital setting or clinic setting
