Experteer Overview As a full-time physician within the Veterans Affairs system, you will deliver evaluation and management for patients in outpatient mental health settings, including telehealth, while supervising trainees. You’ll provide clinical leadership, participate in committees, and oversee clinical functions to align with VAPAHCS goals. The role offers meaningful impact through patient care, safety, and research initiatives, with a pathway to loan repayment via EDRP. Compensation / Benefits • Evaluate and manage patients in face-to-face and telehealth settings • Assess patients in outpatient mental health clinics and supervise trainees • Promote safety, infection control, and preventive medicine practices • Provide leadership for clinical teams and supervise RNPs and clinical pharmacists • Serve on hospital/service committees (e.g., Medication Management, Pain) • Support and advance VAPAHCS philosophy and goals • Ensure research outcome studies follow VAPAHCS policies and procedures Tasks • Full and unrestricted medical license from any US state or territory • Board certification • Full-time commitment; willingness to participate in CME reimbursement • Ability to provide clinical oversight and leadership in a team-based setting Key requirements • EDRP eligible loan repayment up to $200,000 • 50–55 days paid time off per year • Traditional federal pension with 5-year vesting • Federal health/vision/dental/long-term care insurance • CME reimbursement up to $1,000 per year • Tail coverage for malpractice
