Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Project Manager to lead and coordinate our various lawn care programs and operational initiatives. This role involves managing multiple projects from inception through completion, ensuring they align with company goals, quality standards, and budget expectations. The ideal candidate will drive program development, facilitate team collaboration, and implement best practices using agile methodologies to deliver exceptional results.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of projects related to lawn care services, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope management, schedule management, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with clients and internal teams to define project objectives clearly.
- Utilize project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet to track progress and update stakeholders regularly.
- Conduct root cause analysis for project issues or delays, implementing effective solutions using Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen principles.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracts to ensure quality standards are met while controlling costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams through project lifecycle phases using methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, or SAFe for optimal flexibility and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising teams within a project management environment with strong leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma.
- Demonstrated expertise in program development, process mapping, requirements analysis, and business process modeling.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using tools like Trello or Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills for meeting facilitation, stakeholder negotiation, and technical writing.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project along with data analysis skills for performance measurement.
