Role expectations:

Edna's Vision ABA is hiring dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts to provide direct ABA services in home and in a community setting. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will be required to interact with clients and families using assessments, interviews, observations, medical records, and data tracking/ analysis to make medically necessary recommendations for the client, design and update treatment plans to improve or modify the learner’s behaviors, supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians to implement the written intervention plan as intended in accordance with the guidelines defined by the BACB.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience working with children with autism, firm understanding of BACB guidelines and requirements, practice ethical standards, exhibit strong communication skills, willingness and commitment to adhere to set deadlines, and passion for using science-based methods to help autistic children become more independent and improve behavioral challenges. Ultimately, the goal of the BCBA is to improve clients’ overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Discuss treatment strategies and provide evidence-based interventions with clients and their caregivers.
  • Provide assessment, consultation and education for parents to help them improve their children's behavior.
  • Monitor behavior changes, with the ultimate goal to reduce disruptive behaviors.
  • Document treatment strategies for future reference.
  • Collaborate with teachers, psychologists and other professionals to support the child's development.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance in handling medical records and protecting patient privacy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
