Experteer Overview In this role you deliver comprehensive psychological services within the BHIP teams for Veterans across CBOC sites. You perform psycho-diagnostic assessments, administer tests, and provide evidence-based therapies including PTSD interventions. You contribute to charting, consult with other clinicians, and may engage in program evaluation and supervision. This position supports a multidisciplinary, recovery-oriented care model and offers opportunities to lead initiatives and collaborate with diverse teams. Compensation / Benefits • Conduct comprehensive psycho-diagnostic assessments and testing with Veterans • Provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, including PTSD treatments • Complete timely clinical documentation and charting • Consult with healthcare staff on patient care issues • Engage in program evaluation and potential research activities • Provide supervision to trainees and participate in training committees • Offer leadership guidance to assigned units and contribute to program development • Perform other duties as assigned Tasks • U.S. Citizenship • Full, current, unrestricted psychology license (doctoral level) in US/DC or territory • English proficiency (speaking and writing) • Education and internship with APA/CPA accreditation or equivalent qualifications as described • Possession of doctoral degree in psychology and APA/CPA-accredited internship or recognized equivalents • May require temporary appointment if not licensed (GS-11/12) • Background/security clearance and pre-employment requirements Key requirements • Paid Time Off: 37-50 days annually • Parental Leave: up to 12 weeks after 12 months • Traditional federal pension and 401K contributions • Federal health/vision/dental/long-term care insurance • Competitive salary with regular increases • Annual leave accrual and other federal benefits
