This position is for approximately 20 hours per week over three days (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) during school hours (8 am to 3 pm). Prior experience working with children or providing behavior services is a plus, but we will provided all necessary training to the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
The Behavior Technician is a behavior specialist / paraprofessional who is primarily responsible for implementation of behavior-analytic services. The BT practices under close and ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or School Psychologist.
The BT is a position responsible for delivering direct instruction, implementing behavior plans developed by the BCBA or School Psychologist, collecting data and maintaining a professional relationship with parents and the community.
Hourly Pay Range:
Behavior Assistant: $20 - $22
(Based on Experience, Market Rate, and Certification)
Qualifications:
RBT Certification (preferred), High School Diploma, 1 year experience working with children aged K-12, Great time management, Great Communication Skills, Willingness to take feedback and supervision, well spoken.
