Mental Health Behavior Technician (Graveyard)

**Filling graveyard shift 12am - 8:30 am)/nights vary/weekends required**

The ideal candidate should have experience in mental health and/or working with individuals with a psychiatric diagnosis (one year of experience is preferred). MUST HAVE NO CRIMINAL HISTORY AND PASS LIVE SCAN.

Behavioral Health Technicians will care for our patients at our mental health facility in San Juan Capistrano. This position assists in setting the tone and culture, ensuring program rules, routines, and schedules are followed.

Responsibilities:

• Complete essential tasks according to company policies (i.e., UA, belongings searches, and intake paperwork).
• Monitor and document patients' self-administration of medications per company policy and procedure.
• Assist patients with general needs.
• Complete shift checklist (i.e., sanitize, take out trash, laundry)
• Perform rounds on patients (i.e., check on patient every 30 minutes or hour and document)
• Other duties as assigned.
• End shift with email shift report and individual patient report

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Pass Live Scan (back ground check)
• Valid Driver’s License
• CPR/First AID
• Ability to multitask
• Computer Competency preferred
• Flexibility
• Conflict Resolution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
