A contract opportunity for a School Psychologist is available in La Mesa, CA, supporting elementary students with a focused caseload primarily involving Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs). This role is ideal for professionals holding a valid California PPS School Psychology credential seeking part-time hours in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans tailored to elementary-aged students.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective behavioral strategies.
  • Provide psychological services as required within an assigned caseload, typically spanning one to two schools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with a focus on behavioral interventions.
  • Strong skills in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
  • Ability to work two days per week, totaling approximately 16 hours.
  • Commitment to working within a school contract assignment through June 17th.
