About Us
We are a newly launching early-intervention center focused on supporting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Our model emphasizes family stabilization, integrated care, and collaboration between BCBAs, RBTs, mental health professionals, and primary care providers.
As we open our center, we are building a strong, compassionate, and skilled remote behavioral health team able to deliver exceptional psychosocial assessments and, where preferred, ongoing therapy.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor to conduct initial psychosocial assessments for families with young children on the autism spectrum.
This role is remote, part-time, and allows for flexible scheduling based on patient needs.
Therapists who enjoy assessment-only work or assessment + therapy are both welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Conduct psychosocial assessments for parents, caregivers, and family members
✔ Identify presenting concerns, mental health needs, and family dynamics
✔ Develop treatment plans and measurable goals based on assessment findings
✔ Provide ongoing therapy (optional based on your preference)
✔ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical leadership
✔ Coordinate care for families and provide referrals as needed
✔ Participate in integrated care discussions and team case reviews
✔ Manage crisis situations professionally and confidently
✔ Maintain documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organization standards
Schedule
We accommodate both provider and family needs. Options include:
- Late afternoon & evening availability preferred
- Weekend availability highly desirable (morning/afternoon)
- Monday–Friday part-time scheduling available
- PRN supplemental hours possible
Qualifications
✔ Must hold active LCSW, LCMHC, LPC, or similar clinical license
✔ Experience in crisis intervention strongly preferred
✔ Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
✔ Strong assessment skills (psychosocial, risk, disposition)
✔ Experience with families or pediatric populations a plus
✔ Ability to set treatment goals and develop care plans
✔ Must be eligible to provide services to North Carolina clients (NC license)
