Location: Pasadena, CA (San Gabriel Valley areas)
Reports to: Clinical Director
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 Salary (DOE, education, and certification)

Assessment, Consultation & Treatment is a smaller, clinician run and owned behavioral-based agency that provides a variety of services to children and families. We believe strongly in providing highly individualized and comprehensive services and treating all families as well as staff with dignity and the support they need to succeed.

We’re seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is an ideal role for a hands-on trainer and mentor who enjoys jumping in to model teaching procedures, motivate staff, and help team members grow. The right candidate is highly skilled in communication, organization, report writing, interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, and time management, and is committed to helping staff realize their potential in a promote-from-within culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a treatment team of therapists.
  • Set and achieve performance goals with the client, client guardian, and treatment team.
  • Assist with training and ongoing development of staff.
  • Determine techniques to be used in the implementation of treatment plans.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments; design, implement, and maintain high-quality treatment programs.
  • Oversee and maintain accurate, organized client notes, data, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Train clients’ guardians and family members on treatment techniques; maintain positive working relationships with families.
  • Maintain minimum billable client treatment requirements (100 billable hours per month).
  • Supervise and train Behavior Interventionists through direct coaching and in-the-moment feedback.
  • Monitor programs in the field and/or clinic to ensure treatment integrity.
  • Provide direct supervision and parent consultation for assigned families.
  • Conduct and write Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
  • Write progress reports.
  • Lead and mentor the team to support clinical excellence and staff retention.
Required Qualifications
BCBA® certification
Demonstrated knowledge of ABA treatment techniques and treatment program design for children with varying skill levels.
M.A. / M.S. in a related field.
Proven people-management and team leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Bilingual (plus).

Physical Demands
Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).
Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)

Benefits
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 Salary (DOE, education, and certification)
