At Blooming Child Development, we are passionate about empowering children and their families through compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Our mission is to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental challenges, helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing and positive environment. We’re growing, and we’re looking for individuals who share our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

We believe in fostering a supportive, collaborative work culture where every team member feels valued and appreciated. If you are dedicated, compassionate, and eager to learn, we invite you to join our team as a Behavior Technician!

What You’ll Do:

As a Behavior Technician at Blooming Child Development, you will work directly with children to implement individualized ABA therapy plans under the guidance of our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You’ll be helping children build vital skills in communication, social interaction, self-regulation, and more, while making a positive impact on their growth and development. No prior experience in ABA? No problem! We provide thorough training to ensure you're equipped to make a real difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized ABA therapy plans created by BCBAs.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy with children in both home and clinic settings.
  • Collect and record data on clients’ behavior and progress.
  • Help children develop skills in communication, socialization, and daily living.
  • Communicate regularly with families to track progress and provide support.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure consistent care and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to continue growing in your role.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic individuals with a genuine desire to help children and families.
  • Prior experience in ABA therapy or working with children with autism is a plus but not required – we offer training!
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both clients and families.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for learning and professional growth.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to pass background checks and relevant certifications.
