  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate substance use patterns, mental health status, and readiness for treatment.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing clinical counseling techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy.
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery, mental health support, and relapse prevention.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage emergencies effectively while ensuring patient safety and stability.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and compliance records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, case management activities, and community resource referrals.
  • Stay current with research developments in addiction medicine, behavioral health, and diagnostic evaluation to enhance treatment quality.

  • Proven experience in psychotherapy, addiction counseling, and clinical counseling techniques such as CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10).
  • Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing, crisis management, and behavior management strategies.
  • Familiarity with home & community care models, hospital settings, PTSD care protocols, and behavioral health practices.
  • Ability to perform patient assessments effectively using diagnostic tools and medical terminology; experience with medical records management is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for case management, patient care coordination, intake procedures, and group therapy facilitation.
  • Competence in data collection for research purposes and understanding of HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism while providing compassionate support for individuals dealing with mental health challenges or substance use disorders. Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
