Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist position is available to cover a 3-month leave from March to June 2026 in a high school setting. This role requires working Monday through Friday, supporting high school students with a focus on counseling, chairing Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, and utilizing the IEP Direct system.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid NY School Psychologist Certification
- Proven experience working with high school students in a counseling capacity
- Skilled in chairing CSE meetings effectively
- Proficient with the IEP Direct system
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessment and support to high school students
- Chair CSE meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administration to ensure appropriate student services
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies regarding special education services
