We are currently looking for an Early Intervention Specialist/Infant Development Interventionist for the San Diego area to provide in home services for children from birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Provide direct services for children in the early intervention program at their homes/community settings.
-Conducts home visits based on the child's and family needs
-Design, implement and adapt activities for all areas of development (language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help and social/emotional).
-Administer and document developmental assessments and six-month progress reports.
Requirements:
-Working knowledge and practical understanding of Early Childhood Development - (2 Years of Experience Required)
-Bachelor or Master degree in Child Development, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred. Current students of EI welcomed.
-Experience in working with infants/toddlers demonstrating developmental delays
-California driver's license, reliable car with car insurance in your name.
-CPR training completed, upon 30 days from a start of employment.
-Ability to use Mobile phone to administer visit records. We use www.VisitOMS.com app.
