Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will lead behavioral therapy initiatives, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient care activities, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate families and staff on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and best practices for supporting clients’ development
Experience
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or equivalent credential
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder
- Strong background in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Experience conducting patient assessments, data collection, and medical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and patient care protocols related to behavioral health
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Prior experience in special education or working within multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable
