Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with behavioral health needs
- Conduct patient assessments and assist with diagnostic evaluations
- Assist with data collection and analysis to track patient progress
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior change
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience working in behavioral health or related field preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and assist with diagnostic evaluations
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and members of the treatment team
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately collect and analyze data
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of patients and the treatment plan
Please note that this position may require inhalation administration of medication under the direction of a healthcare professional.
