Resident Care Coordinator

The Pearl Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator for our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Lewisville, Tx!

Job Summary:

The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Health and Wellness Director with coordinating the care for our residents while following all state guidelines and regulations. This position is also responsible for assisting with the supervision and scheduling of the resident assistants.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment, hiring, training, supervision of all caregivers to assure quality services.
• Perform a daily review of medication administration process ensuring medications are passed timely and accurately. Intervenes as needed to provide support/ training during the med pass.
• Perform daily filing of all documents relevant to the resident record in chronological order.
• Serve as a preceptor to new team members ensuring each new team member is in full compliance with all policies and procedures relevant to their individual roles before completion of orientation.
• Plan and delegate work assignments, ensuring effective scheduling
• Takes weekend call in rotation with other managers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of management experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community in a similar role
• 3-5 years of medication administration experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and associates
• Strong written communication and computer skills
• Availability to work outside of normal operating hours including evenings and weekends is required
