Patient Care Coordinator (Full-Time)

North Boulder Physical Therapy (NBPT) is a therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy practice serving Boulder County since 1980. With multiple growing locations, we are seeking an energetic, organized, and people-focused Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Position Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator manages the front office experience and plays a key role in patient satisfaction and clinic performance. This position is responsible for scheduling, insurance verification, payment collection, and supporting daily clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Schedule new evaluations and follow-up visits
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain required authorizations
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances
• Manage incoming calls and referrals
• Maintain accurate records in the EMR system
• Monitor schedules to minimize cancellations and no-shows
• Communicate clearly with therapists and clinic leadership

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or administrative experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• Clinic hours vary by location
