Experteer Overview In this role you lead the psychiatric services for individuals at Avenal State Prison, overseeing quality and operations of Physician Services within psychiatry. You work under the CEO’s guidance with the Statewide Chief Psychiatrist to align clinical care with the department’s mission. You will address complex challenges in correctional mental health and contribute to rehabilitative and restorative justice goals. This position offers the opportunity to shape psychiatric care delivery in a high-security setting and advance inclusion within a public healthcare framework.
