Experteer Overview In this role you apply expert clinical psychology to coordinate and lead drug abuse treatment programs within a correctional setting. You will guide and supervise therapeutic activities, diagnose and plan treatments, and advocate for offenders’ treatment needs. You’ll work with cross-functional staff to ensure secure, effective program delivery and uphold agency duties. This position offers an opportunity to shape offender rehabilitation through specialized, evidence-based interventions. Compensation / Benefits • Coordinate approved drug abuse programs (non-residential, residential, MAT) • Supervise clinical activities and staff in drug treatment provisions • Perform testing, interpretation, and clinical diagnoses • Develop treatment plans; conduct psychosocial interviews; provide individual/group therapy • Serve as clinical program expert and advocate to staff and leadership • Ensure security responsibilities as part of correctional role • Provide program leadership and direction to staff and inmates receiving treatment • Oversee evaluation and reporting of treatment outcomes Tasks • Doctoral degree in psychology (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to clinical psychology • License to practice psychology (full, current, unrestricted) in a U.S. state/territory/DC • At least one year of specialized experience at GS-12/13 level or equivalent • Ability to conduct psychological assessments and supervise treatment staff • Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders • Knowledge of substance use treatment and psychosocial treatment in MAT contexts • Strong decision-making and quick-response capability in critical situations Key requirements • 50% recruitment incentive • 25% retention incentive
