**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.

**Duties:**

- Conduct clinical counseling sessions with clients to assess their needs and develop treatment plans

- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire positive behavioral changes

- Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes

- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations

- Implement culturally-based addiction counseling strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances

- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to address underlying issues contributing to substance abuse

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in addiction counseling and crisis management

- Familiarity with medical terminology, and medical records management

- Proficiency in conducting PTSD care and crisis intervention

- Strong knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques

- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
