Job duties as a substance abuse counselor may include but not limited, to provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, helping them work toward recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Assess clients and identify treatment needs
- Create and follow treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling
- Teach coping and relapse prevention skills
- Track client progress and keep accurate client records on EHR
- Refer clients to community resources
- Follow ethical and confidentiality standards
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
