School Psychologist in Huntington Beach, CA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A substitute credentialed school psychologist position is available to provide essential support to two elementary school sites. This full-time contract role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic educational setting, starting as soon as possible through March 31, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary-aged students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and academic success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall student support system
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations and district policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid credential or license as a school psychologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and interventions
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
