Youth Activities Counselor

• Greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Respond to member questions by providing correct information and answering the telephone in a professional manner.
• Assist with set-up, decorations, and safety checks before events.
• Host and engage children and families in activities, including pool activities, events, camps, and holiday events.
• Assist parents in signing their children in and out and checking identification.
• Be knowledgeable of and comply, at all times, with the Club’s standards, policies, and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
• Ensure knowledge of all children’s allergies and special needs.
• Supervise children and use good judgment when in our care. Adhere to all rules regarding younger members.
• Assist with handling kids’ meals.
• Communicate effectively and inform immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and react appropriately.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and secure locking of children’s playroom.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of Outlook, internet applications, and use of office equipment.
• Must have knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoy working with all age groups.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members, guests, clients, and employees.
• Must possess excellent communication skills including strong verbal, written, and positive interpersonal skills.
• Ability to project voice and get the attention of and cooperation from young members.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform a required role in emergency situations.
• Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
• Ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and education levels.
• Excellent team player with the ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

In addition, they have access to secure private meeting rooms with the assistance of a personalized party planner.We are proud to offer our members a championship level, 18-hole golf course including a full swing green grass driving range, practice chipping & pitching area, a practice putting green and a fully equipped Golf Shop with the latest in merchandise and equipment. Our illustrious golf course was designed by the world-renowned Arthur Hills.The Club sponsors many social functions throughout the year including Romantic Valentine's Dinner, Ladies Luncheon & Fashion Show, Easter & Mother's Day Brunches, Independence Day Celebration, Music Under the Stars, Family Fall Festival, Father/Daughter Dance, Santa Brunch, Candlelight Dinners, and New Year's Celebrations just to name a few.
