The Los Angeles Unified School District, one of the Largest School Districts in the U.S., is seeking Certified and Credentialed Candidates for Full-Time Bilingual School Psychologist positions for the 2016 - 2017 School Year.

As a School Psychologist Certified Staff Member you will be responsible for:

  • Providing psychological services to general education students and students with disabilities
  • Conducts psycho-educational assessments to assist in determining eligibility for special education services and the development of educational programs
  • Consulting with school personnel, parents and others concerned with the progress of students
  • Providing individual and group counseling sessions.
  • When qualified, provides such services in the student's primary language or to deaf children using communication skills for the deaf when appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful experience as a school psychologist, school counselor, or teacher in a public school setting
  • Successful full-time public school service in a certified position(s) in programs and/or services involving exceptional students
  • PPS Credential in School Psychology
  • Knowledge and experience establishing and implementing a school wide RtI/SST Model
  • BCBA
