Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Important: This is an in-home position working directly with children. Reliable transportation and comfort traveling to client homes is required.
EY Behavioral Services is seeking committed, child-focused Behavior Technicians who are passionate about hands-on work with children with developmental disabilities and making a meaningful, lasting impact on the daily lives of the children and families we serve.
This role is best suited for individuals who:

If you are looking for a clinic-only, school-only, or remote position, this role will not be the right fit.
This role IS for you if you:
- Have experience working with children (ABA, childcare, teaching, nannying, camp counselor, etc.)
- Are comfortable providing in-home ABA therapy
- Have reliable transportation and can travel throughout the Southern San Diego area
- Can consistently attend scheduled sessions and communicate proactively
- Enjoy collaborating weekly with BCBAs and clinical supervisors
This role is NOT a fit if you:
- Prefer clinic-based or school-based work only
- Are unable or unwilling to drive between client homes
- Are uncomfortable working inside family homes
- Are seeking irregular or drop-in hours

About the Role
As a Registered Behavior Technician at EY Behavioral Services, you will work 1:1 with children with autism and other developmental disabilities in their homes, under the supervision of an experienced BCBA.
Your work will include:
- Implementing individualized ABA treatment plans
- Using play-based, engaging strategies to teach new skills
- Collecting accurate session data
- Communicating professionally with caregivers
- Collaborating weekly with your BCBA and clinical team
This is a hands-on, active role that requires energy, patience, creativity, and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans with fidelity
- Collect and document data accurately after each session
- Communicate session progress with caregivers and supervisors
- Maintain client confidentiality and safety at all times
- Attend supervision, team meetings, and required trainings
Minimum Requirements
- Active RBT certification in good standing (If not yet certified, you must be willing and able to obtain certification prior to start date)
- Experience working with children
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Ability to travel locally between in-home sessions
- Ability to commit to consistent weekly availability
- Must pass background check
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule & Work Setting
- Part-time: 20–34 hours per week
- Sessions primarily afternoons and evenings (preferred availability)
- Monday–Friday, weekends as needed
- In-home client sessions throughout Southern/Central San Diego
- Up to 25% local travel
