Position Summary:

Reporting to the Social Services Department Manager, the Clinical Social Worker is responsible for clinical social worker services at Doctors Medical Center facilities for all patients, families, and staff. This role includes clinical assessment, clinical intervention, consultation, education, and community liaison.

Minimum Education: Master's degree of Social Work

Minimum Experience/Skills: Three (3) months to 1 year experience

License/Certificates/Credentials:

Physical Demands:

• Considerable standing/walking.
• Lift/position up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force.
• Frequent reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, manual dexterity and mobility, touch, auditory and visual perception and acuity, adequate vocal pitch and volume, ability to move quickly.

Working Conditions:

• Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood borne diseases, subject to varying and unpredictable situations, exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, trauma, illness and death)
• Emergency and crisis situations, subject to irregular hours, occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries, occasional exposure to radiation hazards, radioactive substances and biohazard material.
