Employment Type: Independent Contractor/1099
Schedule / Hours: Flexible schedule with shared call
Patient Volume: daily case load of a minimum of 15 inpatient adult patients
Location: Madera, CA
Practice Setting: Behavioral Health Facility, Inpatient

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient services to adults with a focus on regular rounding, admissions, discharges and treatment team participation
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff

Qualifications

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA license
Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians

River Vista is a newer, state-of-the-art 128-bed behavioral health hospital that opened its doors in 2023. We offer a full continuum of inpatient services, including specialized units catering to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and older adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues.
