Maryville is searching for a Resident Care Manager RN who will be a driving force behind exceptional resident care, transforming clinical standards into daily practice. This role leads with expertise and compassion to coordinate teams, elevate outcomes, and ensure every resident experiences safe, personalized, and high-quality care. Through strong leadership proactive oversight, the Resident Care Manager RN creates an environment where residents thrive and staff feel supported to deliver their best everyday.
The Resident Care Manager RN understands and implements the corporate mission and administers policies and procedures to promote the desired business image of the community to residents, guest, and staff members. Ensures compliance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility.

Education and Experience:
- Current Oregon Registered Nursing License is required. License must remain active and in good standing during employment.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred.
- Minimum six months on the job experience as a licensed nurse required.
- Four (4) years clinical nursing practice required or long-term care administration or supervision required.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain within 30 days of hire.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- The Resident Care Manager LN may delegate authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned tasks.
- Conducts comprehensive shift-to-shift handoff communication with nursing staff to maintain seamless continuity of care.
- Complete Incident and Accident reports for residents and personnel as needed.
- Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of resident medication and care records in compliance with estapisted standards.
- Provides sound clinical guidance to support safe, high-quality care and respondes decisively and professional to requests for information or assistance
- Services a key communication leader, coordinating with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary partners regarding resident status and evolving care needs
- Fosters strong cross-functional relationships to promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence across departments and community partners.
- Ensure safe and comfortable accommodations for residents and respond to inquiries for information or assistance in a prompt and courteous manner
- Create and maintain an excellent atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment.
- Assist in all care of residents as needed.
- Receive, record, and restock all medications from the pharmacy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
- Experienced in providing care to seniors preferred.
- Supervisory/administrative experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Works in temperature-controlled office areas, but frequently moves through the entire facility, including patient rooms, therapy areas, and common lobbies.
- Characterized by moderate noise levels with frequent interruptions from phone calls, medical staff, and arriving families.
- Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods, especially when conducting facility tours or performing building rounds.
- Ability to lift, push, pull or move at least 50 pounds independently
- May occasionally assist with patient transfers or evacuations, which can involve moving up to 200 pounds with assistance or equipment.
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases (e.g., Hepatitis B), chemical cleaning solutions, and medical waste, requiring strict adherence to HIPAA and infection control protocols.
- Requires regular bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling.
