Experteer Overview In this role you lead the Mental Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) operations at the Chico and Yuba City sites, ensuring efficient delivery of mental health services and cross-team coordination. You supervise BHIP staff, streamline scheduling and performance measures, and act as a key liaison across clinical and facility services. You will drive program growth and quality through oversight, performance improvement, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Compensation / Benefits • Oversee day-to-day and long-term BHIP operations to enable efficient service delivery • Supervise BHIP multidisciplinary staff and manage performance expectations • Hire, train, and evaluate BHIP staff; implement performance management processes • Manage leave, disciplinary actions, and staff development plans • Monitor clinic scheduling, staff productivity, and utilization metrics; ensure accurate DSS mapping • Coordinate with facility management on policy, safety, and disaster preparedness • Serve as MH liaison to Telehealth, BDMS, Clinical Informatics, IT; address local operational issues • Lead performance improvement initiatives at program, service line, and medical center levels • Engage in community outreach and public relations to VA care • Participate in root cause analysis and action planning for patient safety and care quality • Support site management meetings and communicate space or operational needs to leadership • Contribute to engineering and physical plant issue resolution affecting operations • Assist in staffing selections and participate in panels for psychologist positions • Provide specialized psychological services across intake, assessment, therapy, and education • Align BHIP operations with mission to ensure integrated, timely mental health care across sites • Other related duties as assigned Tasks • U.S. Citizenship • Doctoral degree in psychology with APA/PCSAS/CPA accreditation or approved re-specialization pathway and internship credentials • Current full, unrestricted psychology license (state, territory, or DC) • English language proficiency (spoken and written) • Background/security clearance and pre-employment checks • Subject to pre-employment physical and drug screening • Seasonal influenza vaccination program participation • Online onboarding and pre-employment requirements • Selective Service registration for males born after 1959 Key requirements •
