A school district in San Antonio, TX is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide support at an elementary school serving grades K-8. This part-time contract position offers flexibility with an as-needed schedule and involves managing a K-8 caseload at a single school site for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist credential or license appropriate for Texas
- Experience working with elementary students across K-8 grade levels
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
