Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A high school counseling position is available for the spring semester in Arlington, TX, providing maternity leave coverage from early March through early June. This contract role offers a valuable opportunity to support students during a pivotal time in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to high school students.
- Support students with academic planning, college and career readiness, and social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support student progress.
- Assist in crisis intervention and referral to appropriate resources when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid counseling certification or license appropriate for school counseling.
- Experience working with high school students in a counseling capacity.
- Strong knowledge of academic guidance, career counseling, and mental health support.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite in a collaborative school environment.

Hours: 35 hours per week
