Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children and adults with developmental disabilities. This role is essential in providing support and education to clients and their families, utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote positive behavioral changes.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
- Educate clients and their families on behavioral strategies and techniques to encourage skill development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral health and therapy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; RBT certification preferred or in process of obtaining certification.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of behavioral health practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding patient care and medical records.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
