Overview
Join our dedicated team as an In Home Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions in clients’ homes, supporting children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
  • Provide in-home therapy sessions that incorporate behavior management techniques, social skills training, and communication support.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to educate them on behavioral strategies and reinforce positive behaviors across settings.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, intake forms, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Support patient care by ensuring a safe environment during therapy sessions and adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with children or adolescents in behavioral health, special education, or related fields is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately and effectively.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
  • Ability to perform patient assessments, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and participate in intake processes for new clients.
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must be able to work independently in clients’ homes while demonstrating professionalism and patience.
